Case details & content notes
On Halloween night in Blackwater, thirteen bell strikes cross the harbour, and a disconnected telephone speaks in a voice Mara Voss recognizes as her missing brother’s. Harbour warden Ada Fen sends you the night’s letters, testimony and instrument records: follow what the town would rather dismiss and uncover what its lantern ritual protects.
Follow the paper trail through three acts and six linked puzzles. Read the people behind the evidence, test your deductions, then open the sealed ending when your case is complete.
Your download includes 56 pages: 33 player pages, 18 optional hint pages, and five pages of solutions and ending. Each puzzle has separate Nudge, Method and Check files, so you can open or print only the help you need. Choose A4 or US Letter, in colour or low-ink; all four editions and plain-text companions are included.
Begin with START-HERE.txt and 00-Read-First.pdf. Print at home, gather a pencil and follow the packet order. No app, account or internet connection is needed after downloading. This is a digital game; no physical item will be shipped.
Content notes: grief, a missing family member, borrowed voices, deep water and cosmic dread. No graphic injury.
